On September 10 2024, Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) unveiled a draft regulation that marks a pivotal shift in the country’s approach to digital financial asset trading. This draft regulation was developed in response to Law No. 4 of 2024, which transfers regulatory oversight of crypto assets from the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) to the OJK.
