This month, K-CASE Lawyer is proud to highlight our client, Koo Soegeng Tri Handoyo Wibowo, and his recent success in a significant land ownership dispute. The case centred on a complex family conflict in which Mr. Wibowo challenged his siblings’ control over family property, asserting his rightful ownership based on a valid purchase from their parents. Mr. Wibowo took legal action through a tort case to reclaim his property rights, which were being unjustly withheld by his siblings. Throughout the legal proceedings, K-CASE Lawyer worked closely with Mr. Wibowo to present a compelling case, focusing on the legitimacy of the sale documents and establishing his rightful claim to the property.
Our representation culminated in a favourable verdict in the district court, affirming our client’s legal ownership of the property despite the familial tensions. As of September 30, 2024, the case reached its conclusion when Mr. Wibowo’s siblings attempted to challenge the district court’s ruling through cassation. Their request was denied by the Supreme Court, fully upholding the original decision. This marks a major victory for Mr. Wibowo, bringing closure to a lengthy and emotionally charged legal battle. K-CASE Lawyer’s commitment to defending our client’s rights was instrumental in ensuring justice was served and we hope to continue to ensure as such in the future.
