K-CASE Lawyer visits KADIN

K-CASE Lawyer is delighted to inform that our partner, Mr. Yudistira Adipratama S.H., LL.M., participated in the "Creative Talk; Intellectual Property: Potential, Challenges, and Solutions" event on February 22, 2023, hosted by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (“KADIN”). The event boasted experienced speakers in the IP field, including government representative Mr. Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy of the Digital Economy and Creative Products Department at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Triawan Munaf, Deputy Head of Creative Economy at KADIN, and Mr. Mochtar Sarman, President of Machali Sports International. The format of the event was a talk show, which enabled the audience and speakers to engage in an active exchange of ideas. The discussions focused on various topics, such as creating additional value in one's IP, converting concepts into assets, securing funding based on IP, and even the emergence of esports in Indonesia, which Yudistira raised. Yudistira's interest is related to the fact that he has been involved in the making of several regulations in the field of esports, and has closely worked with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in the creative economy industry. Yudistira is no stranger to KADIN events, in fact, as the ambassador of the Australia Indonesia Business Council, he paneled a similar conference last year in Australia with KADIN Chairman Arsjad Rasjid.
