K-CASE Lawyer recently had the opportunity to take part in World’s Esports Summit 2022 located in Bali, a prestigious event held by the International Esports Federation in conjunction with our client, Garudaku, and the Indonesian Esports Federation, of whom we are the legal partner. This esports summit was furnished by the esports championships with over 100 participating countries, which featured a range of popular esports games, including Tekken 7, E-Football 2023, Dota 2, CS:GO, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, and PUBG Mobile.
During the event, we had the chance to meet with many key stakeholders in the esports industry, such as heads of National Esports Federations and Game Publishers. We also gave a talk to the media about the esports law regime in Indonesia and the importance of complying with existing laws in this rapidly growing sector. Our presentation emphasized the need for all stakeholders in the industry to be aware of and abide by the legal framework that governs esports in Indonesia to support the industry’s continued growth and success.
In addition to providing legal support and guidance to our clients, we also gained valuable insights into the latest developments and trends in the world of esports. We were impressed by the level of talent and skill on display at the championships, and we are excited to continue supporting the growth of esports in Indonesia and worldwide. As the first esports dedicated law firm in Indonesia, we are committed to helping our clients navigate the esports industry’s complex legal landscape and supporting their success.
